About

Authentic Connection

My passion lies in working with individuals who are seeking hope, safety, connection, and a future. If you are feeling stuck, purposeless, or alone, I desire to walk alongside you and help you discover that your journey leads to hope. I graduated with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in May of 2023. My clinical work began in 2022 through community mental health by interning at AltaPointe Health Systems in their Children's Outpatient clinic. I have experience working with children, teens, young adults, and adults. I have utilized CBT, DBT, and ACT with my clients and I hold a holistic view that our minds, emotions, and bodies are all connected and must be considered as a whole unit rather than separately. Additionally, I have training in Faith Integration, so I am comfortable incorporating the faith and spirituality of my clients if those are components they desire in treatment. No matter the modality, my approach to counseling is strengths-based and person-centered, and that is what our time together will reflect.
